Female Hair - combed all the way or visible hairline?

Okay, so i'm in NJROTC, and we have our first inspection tomorrow. I'm really nervous. =/

But one thing I need to know is how is the female's hair supposed to be when it's tied in a bun...

Combed all the way to the back where you can't see the hairline?

*Sorry that's a bad example, but the idea I'm trying to get forward is the hairline showing, if you get what I'm saying.

Yer Hair musn't touch yer collar right? soo Put it in a bun with all the hair up.. at a level where your head gear will still be able to sit properly... just a lil below middle of yer head shud work.
