I have heard this as well. However, I guess I am bad, because I always do it. Spray in some detangler or leave in conditioner to help avoid this if you can't help but brush when it is wet.

No, you should use a wide tooth comb on wet hair, but do not brush it.

Do not BRUSH your hair when it's wet, but feel free to run a wide-toothed comb through to get out the tangles. Be extra gentle, because stretching the hair causes breakage!

Ummmm i think thats a lie, whenever its wet, well since you just wached it it shouldnt be all tangled.... and like if u let it dry, it gets tangled more and if u brush your hair when its tangled, some of your hair might fall off. Hope i helped, bye!

I have long hair I wash, comb and brush my hair everyday, nothing happened. It is healthy, silky and shiny. It is not true that

it will break, our hair are more elastic when wet. It will break if your hair is already damage. Actually, combing is one way of giving massage on your follicles (hair).

It is very true. Hair is at its weakest point when it's wet. You should let it dry about 80% or so before you comb it. Hope I helped!

using a bristle brush on wet hair will break it. first comb with fingers then a wide tooth comb and it will be just fine.
