Alright when I was litlle my mom combed my hair back.Ever since,I've just combed it back myself but now I want to comb my hair completly forward.Not really emolike but forward like most people have their hair.Whenever i try to comb it forward,after it dries it poofs out sorta like an afro.I've tried diffrent combs and stuff but that doesnt work.I've tried gel but the front like starts to split.Any ideas on how to keep it forward?
Oh and 1 more thing.I have wavey hair.

Try straightning your hair and then using hairspray. If that doesn't work, chemically straighten your hair and then use a wet comb.
