I want to straighten my hair, still maintain control of HOW and WHERE it combs,?

I'm tired of using a flat iron (straightener) every morning just to wake to the wavy, curly mess. Any suggestions excluding harsh chemicals?

I have unruly tight curls. I blow them out and seal it with a serum. Then use a hot-hot 2 1/2 inch barrell curling iron to really get it smooth. At night you should roll your hair in big rollers and put a shower cap or a silk scarf over your head and use a blow dryer on it in the morning before you take the curlers out.

You could use an iron. Like... clothing iron. Put a towel between your hair and neck and run it down. It feels really nice...

hair has a mind of it's own, it's going to do what it wants to, do like me learn to wear it the way it want to go.
