for the past 6months ive been letting my hair grow, i had the fantasia look, but now i can wrap it. the hairstylists i go to use great products like mizani. the problem is it looks and feels healthy but when i combed my hair some not alot came out from the root. is this normal when regrowing hair to a certain length?

It is not uncommon for a person to shed 50-100 hairs per day (depending on the thickness)-your hair is constantly growing in phases and at different times and from different areas of your scalp-all be it a slow process but don't be scared unless it is coming out in patches then I would say more than likely the cause would be stress related. It can be or maybe thats a sign of breakage, monitor how much is coming out and if this continues consult with your beautician

It's normal to loose about 100 strands a day, no matter what your race is. I'm glad you mentioned that they're coming out from the root as opposed to breakage. Seems like an acceptable occurrence. As for black hair- the Fantasia look- I'm guessing because the products keep hair well in place (and wrapping it also), when you comb it, you're getting your lost strands at once, maybe even more than a days worth.

Are your relaxing your hair? If you are - I've found Mizani to be a bit too strong for alot of my clients. You may want to try the sensitive scalp formula of Mizani or even a gentler brand.

Also, the relaxer could be left on your hair too long. You do not have to get the hair bone straight with the relaxer. It should just be left on until the hair combs smoothly. The hot irons will finish the straightening process. The relaxer is to basically open the cuticle of the hair so that it can be reshaped. (the irons will reshape) and then the cuticle will close on its own around the new hair shape within 48 hours.

hai, for black hair i suggest you to use the coconut oil, its will stop to drop hair, balance for black shining hair and strong. best of luck to try. when i was small girl until now i use the oil so my hair is now very long and storng, trust me.
