Clueless on how to do 6 month old baby girls hair??? Help!?

My daughter is 6 months old and she has a lot of hair for a baby. I want to start putting little barrettes with the bows on them in her hair. Do I comb her hair to one side and put the bow in sideways or do I comb it backwards and put the bow in straight?? I'm getting her pictures today so I really need some help.

for a baby that age, I would part it on the side and put in a barette on the side with the most hair. I don't know any baby hair websites, but I've been taking care of my niece since she was 3 months.

You probably won't have a lot of time to fuss with it before she gets cranky, so this one will probably suffice. her 1 year pics you'll have way more option!

Good luck!

With my daughter, I always just wet it then put a little pony on top of her head, it was so cute, her hair was short so I don't know if this will help. Just remeber at this age they don't want to sit to long so try to pick a hair style that won't take long to do and doesn't involve to much pulling.

I usually take the front of my daughter's hair and twist it, then clip it in place with the bow. Most of the time, I just put it into 2 little pigtails %26amp; add a bow, or barrettes, or balls to that.

Also, give her something to play with while you're trying to do her hair. I always give my daughter one of her hairbrushes. Then she sits still a bit more.

To the side.

I pulled the sides and top up and wrapped a little stretchy band (they make them especially for babies) around it and then clipped a hairbow or barette on. Warning, though; my baby never left hers on for more than a few minutes so I always had to redo it before pics were made. Make sure you bring extra bows, barrettes, hair bands and a brush/comb with it just in case.

My daughter when she was that age had a lot of hair too. For her and her sisters 6 month old pictures I just combed it to one side (no barrette), and it turned out great ( have some pictures if you want). But you could also comb it to one side and put a barrette in, would look cute too!

Clueless on how to do 6 month old baby girls hair??? Help!?

it all depends which way her hair grows

go with it, if her hair grows toward the side then do it on the side with a little bow. if you cant find any specific direction then you might want to try a headband. you can get some really cute ones elastic with bows or flowers on them.

What's best shampoo for the falling hair.?

Hair falls due to genetic reasons, stress, pollution, thyroid imbalance, chemicals in hair styling products and lack of proper nutrition. Home remedies are cheap , natural and without any side effects. Some of the home remedies for treating hair fall are:

1.Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white could also be used to strengthen the roots of hair.

2. Massage the head with oil for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with a shampoo. A hot oil massage with olive oil will also help.

3.Apply a mixture of lemon juice and juice of amla to the scalp. This also helps control dandruff in the hair

4. Boil neem leaves in water for an hour and let it cool. Wash the hair with this water. Alternately neem oil can be mixed with coconut oil and massaged where there is hair fall

5. The juice of fresh coriander can be massaged onto the scalp will reduce hair loss.

6. Ensure that you eat nutritious food, with plenty of leafy vegetables. Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast.

7. Apply conditioner only to your hair not to the scalp or hair roots. The conditioner could damage your hair. Henna (mehandi) will help control hair loss.

8.Try to reduce the stress and tension in your life, learn to relax. Stress causes hair loss.

How do I stop my hair from falling out?

Whenever I wash or comb my hair almost a handful comes out and I am only 17. By this rate I am afraid I am going to lose a lot of hair in a short time. What is the best way to minimize hair that falls out?

How do I stop my hair from falling out?

I have the same problem, except it's not in chunks... more like strands at a time, and I could find it on my shirt and stuff. For me, it's been happening for a few years now, and my hair is pretty thin. It's so thin that if you compared my hair to someone with average/thin hair, it's thinner than that--a fraction of it. I don't have bald spots, but it recedes here and there. I don't want to scare you, but that's what's happening to me at the moment. I should be seeing a doctor, but I'm more intimidated by doctors than dentists. I think that as long as you don't find any bald spots, it could be one of the following (and more... things that I haven't listed):

It could be stress. I'm 17, too, and around this time, I should be preparing for college apps. and all that stuff even though school hasn't started.

It could also be lack of nutrition. I hear a lot of people saying to eat lots of protein (even though this advice hasn't helped me much other than the fact that I still have my hair), drink lots of water, and etc.

Basically, take care of what you have for as long as you could have it--even though it's pretty hard for me. Now that I think about it, I think it's best to discuss it with your doctor or a dermatologist (they specialize not only in skin). If you find out anything new, you should tell me about it. I'm in a similar situation as you are.

How do I stop my hair from falling out?

if its liek clumps of hair, you might have alapichia or w/e its called, where ur hair falls out. i dont know how to prevent it. see a doctor if its extremely bad, or a hairdresser and have them examine it.

How do I stop my hair from falling out?

i think that comes from washing your hair too much or maybe not enough-you should google it

How do I stop my hair from falling out?

Try Pantene hair fall control. Also the shampoo you're using may be too harsh. Try diluting your shampoo with water first in a separate container before putting it on your head. And don't use conditioner every day.

How do I stop my hair from falling out?

duude that happens to me too. i blow dry/straighten my hair pretty much everyday and so much hair falls out and i'm 18. but it's normal. try not to comb it so much though because it tugs on your hair and makes the roots loose so it falls out more. and try to not shampoo your hair every single day becuase it makes it thinner and gets rid of the natural oils so it looks flatter...so if you think you are losing a lot of hair, just try not to wash it every day (try every other day) or brush it TOO often because then it'll look healthier and more volumized

How do I stop my hair from falling out?

It depends on how much hair falls. Every ones hair falls out naturally. Do a test, if you tug on your hair do you get a fist full if not then the amount of hair you loose is fine. It might not look like it but we have more hair then we actually think we have.

If you are real worried see a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss.

I need help with my hair!?

My hair is fine, shoulder length and straight. I want to know if there is a hair cut/style out there that takes like five minutes but will look good. I also was wondering if there is a good way to put up a high ponytail that doesn't look "bumpy" or "too tight". Someone has suggested back combing my hair before I pull it back but I don't know how well that will work. I would really appreciate it if you all could give me some tips.

I need help with my hair!?

Oh I feel your frustration! I have thin straight hair, the texture is normal but it is so flat all the time. My hair was past my shoulders two months ago and I just cut it into a stacked bob and I love it! It makes me look like I have more hair than I really do. If your not willing to go as short as me(mine is to the end of my neck in back with layers then it is longer in the front below my chin) then I would layer the heck out of it. When pulling it in a ponytail take a small section of hair on top of your head and back comb. Do this with a couple of sections then lightly comb the front so it will look smoothed out. It will make your hair look fuller and it is a cute style. Hope this helps.

I need help with my hair!?

Oh that's easy, do a floppy ponytail. Make a regular ponytail in the back of your head, then loosen it a lot and put it on one side. That would look so pretty!

I need help with my hair!?

if it is fine you may want to get layers to give it some body and texture. if your hair is naturally straight then it will be easy to maintain any style.

also try putting it up when it is wet to get all the bumps out. or you can blow dry it a little to give it some body, then it will look fuller when you put it up. just remember not to pull it too tight.

Is there anything I can do for my toddler's hair?

My son is an African- American baby of Hispanic descent and he has REALLY curly hair. On the sides amd back he have loose, almost straight curls and on the top of his head, in the middle the curls are really tight. I've tried detangler shampoo, mosturizing hair lotion, and coconut hair oil to maintain his hair. But when it's time for me to comb his hair, he doesn't want me to and I don't want it to get matted and I'm not going to cut it. Is there anything I can put on his hair to make it more manageable and less painful for him?

Is there anything I can do for my toddler's hair?

Hey shave it a little down but leave some of the hair so you can still see short curls....When you have done this you can wet his hair and leave it curly with some Gel!!!

My bro has the same problem!

Is there anything I can do for my toddler's hair?

put some little plats on his head. when i was little i had that thick curly hair. my mom would sit me b/w her legs and pop me with the brush everytime i hollered and when i go to sleep she also did my hair

Is there anything I can do for my toddler's hair?

use all of it together then braid it...so it wont get tangled everyday.

and it wont hurt him evey day =]

Is there anything I can do for my toddler's hair?

since hes to young for relaxing you could use a hot comb to straighten his hair, thats what a lot of people use on young children of african american descent.

Is there anything I can do for my toddler's hair?

just curl the straighter curls and make em tighter curls like he's got on the top of his head. also, you could gel his hair up and give him a cool do. i suggest asking your hair stylist for suggestions, i mean he's only a toddler his hair will even out and become easier to maintain eventually. Just go with the flow.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

I lose a lot of hair daily. Especially when I comb my hair after getting out of the shower. Someone told me that using conditioner made their hair fall out. Has that happened to anyone else. Thanks.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

Check up AVON coz they have lot of advanced techniques for hair-styling and also moisturisers which could possibly help you best. See their new catalogue listed here and set up a date with a professional advisor or shop online at www.avon.com. it will also cost you less.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

It could be that the type of conditioner is weighing your hair down more and making it more breakable.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

I dont think it is the conditioner that is making your hair fall out.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

It's normal to loose hair everyday. I find that the longer your hair is, the more you notice it. But I've never heard that conditioning your hair made it fall out. I wash and condition my hair everyday and don't have any problems. Conditioner is good for your hair.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

using conditioner does not make ur hair fall out.

hair falls out for a few reasons. some being: poor diet, hormonal change in the body (ex: thyroid gland problems), hereditary reasons, or too many chemical services being done on ur hair and using products that contain alcohol in them.

hair is supposed to shed, it's totally normal so don't stress it.

if u're hair is falling out too much then go see a dermatologist to determine why.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

Unless you are putting to much in conditioner should be helping it become stronger and actually stay in

my advice don't brush your hair when it's wet, comb it instead. The brush is bad as it's pulling at weak, wet hair.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

yes it can if the conditioner doesn't suits u and it even depends on the type of hair u have{dry.oily stuff like that}.

Can using conditioner daily cause hair loss?

Over conditioning can be very bad for your hair, however if it is just a normal conditioner it should not make your hair come out. If you have very thick hair already then you are probably just going to be prone to hair loss. It could also be that you are using too much product and the chemicals are damaging your hair to the point it is thinning. Go to a good Stylist if you have a Beauty school in the area go there and have them take a look at your hair they will be able to tell you what you need to do whether it is a dermatologist or just changing your routine.

What is a good curling gel/spray that wont make my hair crunchy?

I have long hair that is naturally wavy. But the waves are really funky and weird looking so usually I straighten it because it is easier to straighten it than curl it and I can comb it without it frizzing. But I really want to take advantage of my natural wave and try to create some curls that are more consistent. I can blow dry my hair with a product while scrunching and I do get beautiful, albeit wild curls. The problem? I hate the nasty crunchy feel that most curl products have and they are so rigid that I can't comb my hair without it quickly going from curly to ugly and frizzy. This is a problem since like I said, the curls I do achieve are crazy. I look like a bush person. I need something I can comb through that wont let the curl turn to frizz at the slightest touch or feel nasty.

What is a good curling gel/spray that wont make my hair crunchy?

Aussie

What is a good curling gel/spray that wont make my hair crunchy?

Curl Keeper by Curly Hair Solutions and Jessicurl Confident Coils both give me curl with no crunch. I have to purchase these online but both are well worth it. I think the key to gels is applying it to your hair when it is DRIPPING wet in the shower then using a microfiber towel. I try not to touch my hair at all while it is drying which also helps with the frizz factor. There are tons of tips at naturallycurly.com that may work for you.

What is a good curling gel/spray that wont make my hair crunchy?

Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Curl Creme. I suggest using the shampoo and conditioner as well. it's made with an ingredient that enhances your curl pattern. it keeps it all soft and sexy like.

the best.

air dry your curls, or use a diffuser. once dry, keep your hands out of it! that's when the frizz happens.
