Hair brush or comb?

I want to grow my hair long i usually my brush my hair when its wet! What should i choose? Brush or comb? Which brand?

Hair brush or comb?

For long wet hair I recommend a comb - the best combs have 2 rows of teeth that alternate - mine is a scunci brand "detangling comb". The combs with the 2 rows of teeth seem to be hard to come by but are definately worth it. I also like to use a tibit of leave in conditioner prior to combing out wet locks. Part the freshly washed hair half over each shoulder and focus on one half at a time. Start combing at the bottom and work your way up. Repeat.

For dry hair I prefer a brush. I like the paddle brushes that have rounded bristles on a flexible pillow-like base. Currently I have a Conair brand.

Comb. When your hair is wet, and you brush your hair--It can break very easily.

It's more fragile when wet. So, use a comb.

Any brand is fine.

I have always heard even if your hair is dry or wet, a comb is always better for your hair. It won't break your hair as easily.

but when it's wet I suggest to use a Comb good luck

use a brush i would say. brand doesnt matter as long as u feel comfortable using it n c that the bristles r not too hard or not too soft.

Make sure if you are going to brush your hair when it's wet that you have a detangler or a little dab of conditioner applied to it--and I would use a wide-toothed comb or a detangling brush. Once you get the snarls out, you can use a regular comb, like if you wanted to get some kind of styling cream combed through.
