Back combing / teasing hair?

Ok. i like back combing ma hair but it seems to fall out quite easy is there any way i can stop this ? And is there a way you can stop it harming your hair ?

do not backcomb , that is just damaging ur hair. they have so many stying products %26amp; irons %26amp; stuff . i have straight thin hair %26amp; all i do is color Highlite, have a good haircut %26amp; blowdry with a round brush, then hairspray. backcombing is out dated anyway. go to the salon %26amp; get a style that would be easier

Make sure your hair is well conditioned. If your hair is dry or brittle, it becomes more prone to breakage.

Also, be gentle when doing backcombing. If you're rough with it, you'll damage your hair more so...and don't backcomb everyday. That's the worst thing you can do.

well sweety, first of all, only way you can stop it from harming your hair is to not do it that often, and get some amazing conditioner. and if you dont want it to fall out so easy, try using a finer comb, like a dreadlocking comb, nd dont pull on your hair when you pull back, be gentle on it

use hairspray after you back-comb it, then smooth the top layer over.

There is a product call "what a tease" made by Sexy Hair. It is heavy duty stuff.

As for harming your hair...don't back-comb too harshly. The damage can happen if you are going at it so hard that it breaks off hair while you are doing it, so lighten your touch. Also, use a good, moisturizing conditioner.
