try usin a shampoo that does NOT have Alcohol in it..

alcohol dries hair out!! you can find out if you shampoo has alcohol in it jus by simply lookin at eh ingredients....

%26amp; also try usin a conditioner....try leavin the conditioner in for like 5-10mins....that will also moisturize you hair!!!

ALSO you might try usin biosilk or a product of that sort...it makes your hair shinny %26amp; helps frizz if u have it....

for the thickness....you could try askin your barber if they can "thin" your hair out abit...

[[[if your hair is long enuff they can use "thining shears to do soo....]]]

im a graduate of a cosmetology course!!

hoped i helped you out!!!!

Get a nice conditioner with a moisturiser. VO5 Total Hair Recovery is a great inexpensive product to help your hair stay soft. Also invest in Leave In Conditioner sprays.

Like it was said before beware of alcohol., it does dry your hair out. What i recomend is a scalp treatment.

Go to your local shop like "Sally's" where they sale the professional hair care products used by salons. Get the stuff called cholesterol

Use about 1/2 cup of it

mix with about 1/3 cup conditioner (or till its a lil thicker then your shampoo)

rub it in your hair until you can tell a difference in the texture of your hair.

leave it in for 10-15 mins. under heat if possible (you can use a hair drier for 3-5 mins) rinse well. If needed you can leave some in but your hair will look oily til you wash it.

It should help out the hardness of your hair.

Altho you can also go to a salon and ask them to thin your hair useing "thining shears." They can even do the scalp treatment for you. (Which I LOVE!!)
