Is it better to comb your hair with a brush or a comb?

Yesterday I had a hair appointment and i took notice that there were no hair brushes except round brushes in the whole salon only combs? Is it better to comb with combs and why?

Combs when its wet, because it wont break your hair, and a brush when it's dry is what i usually do

A comb is less likely to break the hair, the bristles are further apart. I personally don't like using a comb.

but once its dry a comb doesnt work on everybodys hair[because knots are to hard to go through], so either when its dry

eh, i just use a brush. if you tried using a comb on my hair it'd probably break anyways. don't worry, that's just a salon thing

i personally dont like combs.

i like brushes because i think it feels better and it gets more done.

when it is dry, i would use a brush, just because a comb can be to harsh on your hair when it is dry because if knots and snarls

I perfer a brush when my hair is dry but usually after i take a shower and my hair isdamp and would use a a comb so all the knots would comb out so thats what i do

because a brush isn't good for wet hair and could like mess it up but like you can still use it . =]

a comb is usually less rough then some brushes, and plus in the salon they always wash your hair first and your never suposed to brush wet hair so yeah...

but some brushes are good to brush dry hair so its not like you should stop buying brushes and only use combs.
