Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
because hair breaks easier when it is wet.
Good Luck!
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
You can comb it wet if you comb it with conditioner on. if you comb it when wet without conditioner its supposed to split the ends
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
It has something to do with your hair's elasticity(sp) when your hair is wet it's less elastic then when it's dry and its easier to cause breakage.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
you should comb your hair when it's wet. you shouldn't BRUSH your hair when it's wet. have you ever been to a hair salon?
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
i've never heard of that and I comb my hair when its wet and so do all my friends and our hair rocks. (i'm serious our hair is really good, mine is really soft but bushy (but bushy hair runs in the family so thats no the result) and my bff's hair is very fair and soft and easy to manage), so IDK.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
I thought it was bad to 'brush' wet hair, thought combing was ok
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
I have never heard that. you should comb all tangles out with a comb never usining a brush on wet hair.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
they say it's not good to comb ur hair when wet cuz it could break your hair and ruin the ends leading to damaged ends. the only time that happens is when you have knaps that you can't easily comb through. what you should do, and this is what i do, is after shampooing, use a conditioner. when conditioning ur hair, you should finger comb thru ur hair to make sure that it's all evenly spread. leave in for a good 2-3 minute.... rinse and towel dry. run fingers thru once more, and then use a comb or brush.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
I do but it is meant to be easier to pull out and break - I have to brsh mine though otherwise it is really knotty lol
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
Dont do it ! it will all fall out.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
Because it breaks your hair %26amp; forms frizz.
Wet hair is more delicate and easy to break when it's wet.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
Never brush your hair when it is wet. Instead, you should comb your wet hair. Brushes are known to pull wet hair, meaning that it will be more likely to fall out when you use a brush than if you were to use a comb. If there is not a comb around, wait until your hair has dried before you even attempt to brush it.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
I brush my hair when its wet cuz if I wait 2 long it gets really frizzy and puffy!!!! And I can't stand it!!! I have naturally curly hair and I can't really brush my hair when itz dry!!!
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
well when u take shower and den comb yur hair yur hair wil feel like gras most of time.. i hate dat feeling so i never comb my hair but i wud prefer is use REDKEN SMOOTH DOWN. it helps keep yur hair frm being grassy when u comb it before u hairdry it. so first u take a shower and den put da redken smooth down and den blow dry rite away even before u put da smooth down u can comb yur hair!! ANSWER: once u comb yur hair it gets more frizzy and it will feel like grass if u constantly do it, but if u have silky hair it will be okay to comb a little but if u have unruly hair DON'T COMB!!!
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
Your hair stretches when it's wet and if you run a fine tooth comb through it while it's wet the ends could stretch and break off easily. You can, however, use a wide-tooth comb or brush while it's wet.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
because your hair is more prone to breaking when it's wet and it will give you split ends!
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
You should use a wide tooth comb to comb your hair when its wet. But do not brush because as others have stated it will break easier.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
Hair shouldn't be combed when it's wet.
False. When hair is wet, water penetrates its shaft, so it swells and starts tangling with other hair. If wet hair is not combed, it will dry out tangled, and will be unmanageable and difficult to style. To set the hair and give it a smooth look, you must comb it when it is wet. But do it gently and be sure to use a wide-toothed comb.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
Because combing wet hair can break it and cause split ends. Use a wide tooth comb when you put your leave in conditioner on. Preferrably, finger comb wet hair. If only I could do that. My hair's so thick, wide tooth combs get stuck... I got mom's hair. Lol.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
It gives you split ends.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
i always comb my hair when it's wet . i have been doing it all my life . i have not had any problems . i think it is a silly saying. IF IT WAS SO BAD WHY DO HAIRDRESSERS BRUSH/COMB YOUR HAIR ? WHEN IT IS WET ?THEY ARE PROFESSIONALTHEY KINDA KNOW WHAT TO DO ! don't you think?
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
supposidly, when you brush wet hair, it stretches and tears which damages hair. I think you should ask a beautician.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
u shoulddd comb ur hair when wet..
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
You shouldn't brush your hair when it's wet. It's ok to use a wide tooth comb though as it de-tangles it and I do that.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
you shoul comb your hair when it is wet the worst thing you can do is brush it as a brush will break your hair use a wide toothed comb tho and to help stop your hair breaking use a good leave in conditioner this will make it easier to handle while it is wet.
Why Shouldn't You Comb Wet Hair?
you can comb it when it's wet but you must use a wide tooth comb and be gentle and when you do it first detangle your hair with your fingers then use the wide tooth comb and be gentle . i do this and i have thick curly Afro hair and mine doesn't break you just have to be careful but hair is more prone to breakage when it's dry because dry hair has less flexibility anything dry does.
