Q about hair?(dandrift)*?

ok i have bad dandrift* and mi docter siad to use this shampoo and i have but its ether making worse one day or just not working i cant touch mi hair without any flake falling out. i dont comb mi hair alot bec i thnik that might make it worse by scratch up mi scalp. wat should i do or use ? : (

Q about hair?(dandrift)*?

I would recomend head%26amp;shoulders. And try coming your hair more often. Dont be scared lol. Also a blow dryer while you brush your hair can be good too since it is blowing away the dandrough.

Q about hair?(dandrift)*?

visit doctor again and be sure to get the shampoo all over your scalp and wash out very thoroughly. Please dont use blow dryer. it can harm our hair a lot. research on internet how bad blow dryers can be and it doesn't blow dandruff away!

Q about hair?(dandrift)*?

it could also mean that your not washing your shampoo or anyhng thing out right. but tho it takes a long time for the shampoo to work i else its to strong which you can buy in the chemist!

Q about hair?(dandrift)*?

Dandruff. You might want to use Tea Tree Oil Shampoo.

Q about hair?(dandrift)*?

use head and shoulders and to a treatment like butinf moisterizer or conditioner in ur hair for a couple of hoursthen rinse

Q about hair?(dandrift)*?

I would recomend useing T-Gel and a great conditioner that does not have alcohol listed as one of the first three ingredients.

Need to step-by-step instructions to scrunch hair (please)?

okay i know i posted this question before but i didn't really get any answers that were really answering my question so here i go again:

i want to scrunch my hair for tomorrow i will have about 3 hours to get ready for school i have thick hair and i want to scrunch it up but i dont know how to i already have the supplies like mousse, hairspray, and a blow dryer with a diffuser i need step-by-step instructions to get scrunched up hair like what to do should i towl dry my hair or let it drip?should i comb my hair after i get out of the shower even if its dripping?things like that please and thank you

Need to step-by-step instructions to scrunch hair (please)?

This is how I do it.

1. Take 2 eggs and take the yolk out of them. You should just have the white part of the eggs in the bowl.

2. Get an electric mixer and mix mix mix until the eggs turn into a mouse substance.

3. Put in the refrigerator.

4. Take a shower and wash hair.

5. Towel dry hair, make sure it is still a little bit wet though, so it is almost dripping.

6. Put egg-mousse in hair. Scrunch your hair while putting it in. Put it in from the roots to the tips and scrunch scrunch scrunch. Make sure it is even.

7. Dry your hair while scrunching it.

8. Lovely messy curls that are scrunchy!

Good luck darl!

Need to step-by-step instructions to scrunch hair (please)?

Use the towel to scrunch your hair gently rather than rubbing it hard on your head. Then put mouse on your hair while its a little more than damp. Use the diffuser in small sections at a time. Once your hair is dry use aerosol hair spray and scrunch it again. That should stay through the school day.

Need to step-by-step instructions to scrunch hair (please)?

Here go to this link and it will tell you how to do it step by step. This is the website I used to learn how to scrunch my hair, it works. =D

http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art4...

Need to step-by-step instructions to scrunch hair (please)?

This might not work if your hair is kinda short..

After you get out of the shower, wrap your hair into a tight bun. Blowdry it until it gets somewhat damp. When you take your hair out of the bun, it should come out a little wavy (depending on how your hair is). Add some mousse and hairspray! It'll take a matter of 20 minutes.

Need to step-by-step instructions to scrunch hair (please)?

Once you're out of the shower do NOT comb your hair. Scrunch it with your hands and with your towel until it's somewhat wavy. Apply a minimum hold gel or hairspray and continue scrunching. For a curlier look, scrunch smaller sections at a time. For a wavier look, scrunch larger sections. Let your hair dry naturally, or blowdry in sections with a diffuser.

HELP!! why does my hair come out?

well im a teenage girl and when i would take a shower, my hair would usually come out!! and now it happens when i brush or comb my hair!!!! so what causes a teenage girls hair to fall out??????

HELP!! why does my hair come out?

Actually everyone's hair falls out, not just teenage girls. It can be normal or caused by other things such as stress.

Girls tend to notice it more than guys simply because our hair is longer and we notice when a piece of hair is on us or in our brush or whatever. Its like a dog, we shed.

So, my guess its just normal, but incase you think otherwise, heres a link that might help.

HELP!! why does my hair come out?

Okay.. i read in a book that teenage girls usually loose any where between 200 to 350 hairs a day. its just a way so new younger hairs can grow in.

Hope I Helped.

HELP!! why does my hair come out?

well, everyone loses hair when they brush or wash. Totally normal. But if you're starting to thin out significantly or get bald spots, I would see a Dr. You might have something called Alopecia. Stress also causes hair loss ....

HELP!! why does my hair come out?

Dont you worry. This is totally normal. It may seem scary to you but its just making room for new hairs to grow in because when you are this young they grow like no tommorow. So let the hair grow and come out as it pleases.

Dont worry you have my word...

HELP!! why does my hair come out?

It's totally normal to lose up to 250 hairs every single day, and when your hair gets longer that can look like a hell of a lot in your brush. Especially if you have had your hair up all day, then they'll all come loose when you let it down again.

If you actually notice that your hair is getting thinner at the scalp, or notice a loss in the thickness of your ponytail then you should probably see a doctor. It may just be a vitamin deficiency, or it could be something more serious.

I have a hair question?

everytime I take a shower or I comb my hair I notice large clumps of my hair fall out and I hate it! I have medium length blonde hair and it's thick, someone help me! Should I get a haircut or ask my dad to buy different hair products? =(

I have a hair question?

A person looses so much hair everyday--it's a fact. Your hair is continually growing in. It is natural--don't worry about it if you are healthy overall.

I have a hair question?

yes get a hair cut

I have a hair question?

Are you anorexic?

*that would explain it

I have a hair question?

go to a salon and tell themwat is hapening if u want to really find the problem show them how much hair comes out

I have a hair question?

If ur using pantiene ..then its definately the shampoo cuz i know too people whose hair is thinning cuz of it....If not I suggest get new products like john frieda like frizz-ease or the shampoo for blondes by john frieda

I have a hair question?

How big are the clumps? I have really thick hair too and its blonde ( I dye it a lot...maybe too much) and it falls out a lot. Try getting a better conditionner or go see someone about if it really worries you.

I have a hair question?

Who cares

I have a hair question?

That is a serious problem!!!I think i know what it is but i don't want to get anyone worked up over my theories talk to your dad and possibly a hair stylist and if this progresses talk 2 a doctor! Hope this helps!!!!

I have a hair question?

i had that problem. my hair is very thick, and before i got my hair cut short, clumps of it would fall out all the time. this really did not happen before i got my hair treated. i think that may be what caused it. cutting my hair short cured mine, but other than that i really don't know. you should probably talk to who ever cuts your hair.

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

is this making it healthier???

i mean i comb it out with my hands in the shower %26amp; when i get out of the shower but thats it i dont use hair tools.

i have really THICK CURLY biracial [hispanic/black] hair...

and i dont have white/black hair where its thin %26amp; smooth curls...i have really unruley curly hair

i heard that brushing really curly hair is a no no bcus it causes frizz %26amp; combing curly hair causes breakage.

i mean it seems thiner %26amp; a little bit healthier but i think its just all in my head.

i havent put any kinds of chemicals or anything at all in my hair for a month...all i do is leave in the conditioner [mane %26amp; tail] that i wash my hair with %26amp; style..as you can tell iam trying to get it back to its healthy state like i use to have it when i was younger.

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

Dont listen to these people!!! They obsiously have not dealt with curly, unruly hair before- it needs complety different treatment. You are right- dont brush it. Now I know all these straight heads are gunna freak out, but DONT wash it either.. WAIT!! ITs not as gross as it sounds!! ITs called the 'curly girl no-poo' routine and you can read about it on the website www.naturallycurly.com. Basically, dont put any sillicones in your hair at all (check the ingredients of your leave-in, gels, mousses, conditioners, whatever, for anything that ends in -cone). Its not that silicones are bad or anything, but SHAMPOOS are, they contain sulphates which wreak havoc on curly hair, drying it out even more, which is the last thing we want.

SO anyway, if u put sillicones on your hair and dont use shampoo, they wont come out- you will end up with gross build up. (try and stay away from producst that have proteins added to them too) Surprisingly enough, conditioner will get your hair fairly clean without even using shampoo, just stay away from those '-cones.'

So there you go- wash your hair with conditioner, throw away any products with a '-cone' in the ingredients, only brush hair with your fingers, use leave in conditioners and moisturing hair masks, thats about it. A lot of curly girls are doing this routine now- it really makes a difference. Anyway, check out that website, it was a real lifesaver for me.

Hope this makes sense!! Good luck.

PS: dont give up and straighten your hair- we curly girls rock!!!

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

no it makes it worse go and have a shapoo

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

Good for you.......so your question is?

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

I dont think its making your hair any healthier...

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

If it looks OK to you, continue. Doubt the practice is making it healthier, but, hey, it's your hair and your appearance.

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

Oh no.. I guess that makes your hair a haven for bacteria and all sort of germs,, A shampoo would be nice though the chemical can get too strong. Just use it every other day or thrice a week. It's also good to drink lots of water and get enough sleep.

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

i could never go a week without brushing my hair becuse it takes 20 minutes every day just to comb it and my hair is thin. i say comb it twice a day very gently. and have your own brush that comforts you the most. good luck!

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

My daughter is 8 and she washes her hair in the shower at night.Doesn't comb it and goes to school. I think it looks better combed but she likes it this way.

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

I would say good for you since ur doing shampoo and leave in conditioner mainly. If you wanted you can use like hairspray or something but just make sure there are no parabans in there or SLS (sodium laur... sulf...--ahh i forget) since they are bad for hair's health. the parabans are bad for ur body too while SLS just dries up hair although manyyy hair products (shampoos, conditioners, etc) have it in there. Since your hair is very curly it means it's dry too so ya it doesn't need SLS in there to make it even drier. If you want natural or organic things that doesn't contain those two chemicals, you can just try the local natural foods and products store for it. Also here's a site that helps you choose good products for not the health of ur hair but also for ur body too: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.p...

Also def. do not do that brushing/combing, I have same type of hair like u do too and I noticed there was lotttt less frizz, breakage of hair when I stopped doing them.

Just continue using ur fingers and hands for combing thru hair and you're fine.

Also I think it might seem a bit thinner and a bit healthier cuz I think ur hair grew maybe now to shoulder or midback or somewhere that kinda length. For thick curly hair, the curls would be weighed down by its own weight (it's natural for it) and would be more structured, etc. So unlike in medium or short hair, the curls would be lot more bearable to be w/. That's why it's good to have like atleasttt shoulder length hair or past that for thick curly hair to be tamed more. Since it prob seems lot more straighter to you since its weighed down by its own weight (If i'm right abt ur length of hair), it seems more healthier.

If this works for you, then def continue it. Not only good for ur hair but also for ur body too. :D

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

bullshit!!no! go %26amp; comb it!! NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS,

YOU NEED TO BRUSH/ COMB YOUR HAIR DAILY.

there are natural oils on your scalp and for distributing those oils, you need to brush your hair daily.

[however, dont overbrush it..] dont continue this please, your ruining your own hair...take care if it!

nope it doesnt make hair healthier...eat healthy if you want healthier hair! you told your not using chemicals, THATS GREAT! stop using all chemicals n heated tools...they damage hair. yeah, of course when we were younger, we may not be using these heated appliances like blow driers , straightners etc....

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

i have the same kind of hair and i do the same thing theres nothing wrong with it but instead of combing in the shower then when you get out only finger comb it in the shower and dont use any tools because that damages wet hair and dont brush it dry because that will just get it wicked frizzy

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

Yes, it's health and it's completely normal. Don't listen to some of these stupid people who think you have to brush it daily. That's because they probably have bloody thin, dead straight hair.

Well, I have curly hair, it's soft and loose and has little twirls and I have found it has become better because I haven't probably brushed my hair for two years. Of course I brush it and comb it in the shower but never dry because it'll buff up. So you should do that. Brush your hair in the shower and comb it but never when it's dry, it'll look better.

Most people hate their hair so it's normal. Some days I can't stand mine and I actually like yours, I know it would be hard to maintain but it's pretty hot.

Good luck.

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

nooo sweetie! you NEED to brush your hair! not brushing it isnt strengthening your hair or making it healthier... i have thick and curly hair too and if i dont brush it.. it falls out in big chunks at a time.. all you need to do is use protection cream//gel//mousse. and leaving the conditioner in might dry your scalp out a little bit... you might not notice it.. but it does.

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

my friend who has tight curly curly hair like leona lewis (before she uses rolers like on the cover of a moment like this) she never brushes her hair when its dry unless its straightened. But when her hair is wet she uses a wide toothed comb and then a finetoothed comb then she either just leaves it or blow dries it. her hair is really healthy soft and beautiful!! maybe u should use her method cos i dont think that is making ur any healthier

I HAVENT brushed or combed my hair in about 4 months....?

If it is working for you and if it is presentable then do not change a thing. Unless you want to change the style.

But it is all up to you.

At first I was shocked by the Q?, it is the only thing I saw, but you are taking care of it regularly by washing.

Your way of managing your hair hair, is fine.

Tools are used to manage tit any way, depends on the style.

How to comb my hair backwards?

Now, everytime i try to comb my hair backwards, alot of hairs start to stick out. My hair naturaly goes forward but i want to comb it backwards. I am sick of alot of hairs sticking out. I tired, gell, wax, and even that shiny gell stuff.......PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ HEEEEEEEELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!

How to comb my hair backwards?

Unfortunately your hair lays the way it grows and prefers to lay that way. If you comb your hair the way you want it to lay and keep it that way, after a couple of months it should tolerate that direction and lay flatter. I have to change my part every so often or it flattens out, same principle.

Unfortunately gel, wax and stuff is really the best thing for it.

What about a headband?

How to comb my hair backwards?

OIL. Olive oil, vegetable oil, etc. They stink but they work.

Or gel your hair and then spray it with extra-hold spray. Do it while its wet.

How to comb my hair backwards?

Whats the best care for Afro hair? can any one help me out ?i've?

i'm having some hair problems. i use 'africa best stimulating shampoo' i really like it and it makes my hair soft but when i their cholestrol tea tree oil conditoner it breaks my hair. so i use african pride oil instead of conditioner which keeps my hair moist . i use african pride magical gro on my scalp still is dry, flaky and itchy. plus when i comb my hair it starts to break off :(

how can i stop breakage, dryness. and matain healthy hair (its always in cainrows so i do use african pride braid spray )

i listed the things i use so some of you might know it i hope i made the question clear.

Whats the best care for Afro hair? can any one help me out ?i've?

Maybe your corn rows are too tight causing the breakage, and are you using any synthetic hair to hold the braids? Make sure all of the shampoo is washed out too, that could be some of the dryness and itching you are having. Also try a waterbase conditioner and use petrolatum based conditioners less as tehy tend to build up over time and now allow your scalp to breathe.

Whats the best care for Afro hair? can any one help me out ?i've?

i use vo5 conditioner to cowash (conditioner wash), condition with cantu shea butter conditioner, i wash my hair with shampoo only once a month with cantu shea butter shampoo, i deep condition my hair with organic root stimulator's replenishing pak once or twice a week, and i use shea butter, jojoba oil %26amp; olive oil as a leave in conditioner - all of this keeps my hair moisturized...i also use coconut oil on my hair at night and use organic root stimulator's carrot oil on my scalp - the carrot oil really stopped my hair from shedding and it is nice and healthy now...you really have to find a routine that is best for your hair by trial and error, go to www.motowngirl.com for some more ideas on products you can use

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

i have naturally wavy/curly hair. So when i wash my hair thats how it is, but i eventually have to comb it, and when i do my whole hair gets straight and when it dries my hair doesnt even look as curly or wavy as it did before i combed it. It's like when i comb it, it takes the waviness out of my hair. Any sugguestions on what i should do?

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

try http://www.haircurls.com

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

I don't have curls/waves, but maybe scrunch it? c:

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

You're NEVER supposed to comb or brush wavy / curly hair. When you get out of the shower spritz some de-tangling spray but then scrunch, don't comb or brush with anything. If you have to, use your fingers AFTER it dries! When you do it before it dries, it sets your hair style.

To touch up, make loose waves/curls with a curling or waving iron =]

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

youre not suppose to brush your hair when you wash it.

it makes a different style.

its hard to explain but it does. ike my hir used to be straight and now its like kinda curly.

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

My hair does the same thing. I put mouse in it and then use a comb with about an inch between the combs and comb it out then I flip my head and shake it. I use the curl enhancer mouse.

Good luck

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

My hair is just like that! I'm not sure how long your hair is, but I used to have it a little bit past my chin. Plus my hair is really thick. And I LOVED having it wavy/curly. Here's how I would do it:

Before I took a shower, I would comb my hair. That way going into the shower I knew it wouldn't have any knots. Shampoo and condition as normal. Right after getting out of the shower, I would mess up and scrunch up my hair with a towel, and then wrap it up in one until it dried. Or I would fall asleep with wet hair after scrunching it up, and wake up with it wavy/curly.

The only problem with this is yeah, it gets a tiny bit knotty. But I think it was worth it. Then you just let the curls/waves come out and comb your hair and wash it again.

Also, I'm not sure how well this technique would work if your hair was any longer than mine, because I've never tried it with longer hair, and I think maybe the weight of the hair would cause the curl/wave to come out.

When i comb my hair tha waviness/curl in my hair turns straight?

i have naturally curly hair and i wish that if i combed my hair it would go straight that easy. mine just goes to an ugly wave. i would suggest getting product like shampoo, conditioner for curly hair, and then for after the shower get products for curly hair to style it like. you can get the stuff pretty much anywhere.

Another option is instead of using a comb, use your fingers. That way your hair isnt going through such a thin space to stretch out your curl. thats what i do when i want to wear mine curly.

Good Luck!!

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

He is just a little vain isn't he .

All those years in court appealing to women on the jury influenced his appearance .

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

Only if Wolfowitz (sp) licks it first...

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

I don't think that John Edwards if ready for prime time. Look for him to be Hillary Clinton's running mate.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

could be.............

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

More like "Ambulance Chasing Day"

Thats my bet.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

No, but he will probably want his wife gone for the insurance.

He'll need it for 2012.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

He doesn't know what a comb is... just like he doesnt know Cuba's healthcare system is run by the government.

what a loser

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

And in the true spirit of moderation, he'd part it down the middle.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

he'll be the most beautiful woman president ever!

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

National have a wife as good as any man could ever hope for day.

National feel sorry for insecure conservatives day.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

I have to laugh at people who are scared do death to talk real issues and, instead, resort to personal attacks. The sad part is that those idiots vote. Their reasons obviously are not because of a candidate's stand on the issues but on superficial things like one's appearance, gender, race, religion or other unimportant thing.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

You and I have a better chance than he has. See there really is a God. Peace

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

OK, this topic of his hair is officially gone overboard.

Same with the cutesy epithets - Breck Girl, Pretty Pony, whatever.

Stop, stop, stop! Please!

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

John Edwards claim to fame is being successful at manipulating tragic situations to gain 30% - 40% in contingency fees.

Thank John Edwards if you had a needless operation or procedure.

Thank John Edwards for escalatng our health care costs by declaring war on the medical, drug and insurance industries.

Thank John Edwards for filling our courts with frivolous law suits and making our society highly litigous.

To even consider placing a trial lawyer in the WH is an act of stupidity beyond belief.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

did you think of that question all by yourself, or did you need help from your mommy?

See I can ask stupid questions too.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

With everything this nation and planet is facing Mr Edwards hair is small stuff. I'd spend more time looking at real issues. The fact that someone combs their hair should be a plus. Not this petty crap.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

Wow, and why don't you tell us what he actually says or talks about. What issues does he talk about? Do you know how to talk the real issues Or, are you really that fixated on his hair like the corporate media would like you to be? In otherwords, you are very easily manipulated by corporate media.

If John Edwards is elected president will his first act be to declare national hair combing day?

No, he will sign into law the National Leave-In Conditioner Act.

Look out Sweden, the U.S. will have the best hair on the planet NOW!

Do you struggle with combing your hair?

I do in order to get out these naps.

Do you struggle with combing your hair?

Yes, I do struggle. Yesterday i asked about hair too. I got this great site to give you. I called and spoke with them and have an appt in 2 weeks its only $45 bux she told me. Then i should be able to maintan my hair better.

PS. I'm going natural. Letting the relaxer grow out and getting curls. Take a look at the pics on the site. And look at the products .

Do you struggle with combing your hair?

try leaving a little conditioner in your hair. Just a little though, it well making combing your hair so much easier

Do you struggle with combing your hair?

everyday... you aren't alone... that's just how it is, unless you chemically treat your hair... but that's no good for your hair, so, i'm stuck.

Do you struggle with combing your hair?

Woohoo the infamous comb thru and how to do it so it doesnt hurt or make the hair pull out.....this is how i do my hair and also my daughter's hair who is half black...so i know naps and the infamous pain in the kitchen......first what you want to do is when you conditioner it, comb it thru....after you're all done washing it and drying the mane, go ahead and grease it nicely and add a tad bit of water (spray bottle works wonders) then comb from the bottom to the roots......start by combing the ends and then comb a lil higher and a lil higher til you get to the roots.....will help with the breakage and also will make those naps not so unbearable to comb thru......now personally i have no idea what it feels to have those lil buggers, but i do get tangles and those suck, but by combing the ends then working up gradually helps with those too :) i love hair questions.....good luck and take ur time, don't hurt the do !

Do you struggle with combing your hair?

I hate brushing my hair out...it takes forever!! My hair is sooo long, and I can't reach half of my hair..lol..sooo...anyways..you are NOT alone..

Do you struggle with combing your hair?

AFter shampooing use conditioner and leave it in for about 3 mins and then comb through when your hair is still wet. Don't rub it with the towel when finished. Just blot it and it shoul be easier to comb through.

My hair are very weak and they break off very easily (especially those which are above my forehead).

what should i do to avoid easy breakage of the front hair i.e. those directly above my forehead break easily break and now they look so bad. let me tell u that i don't comb wet hair. also tell what should i do so that the broken hair gain strength and grow faster?

My hair are very weak and they break off very easily (especially those which are above my forehead).?

Use a deep conditioner and avoid heat if you can! I know what your talking about from personal experience. I was having my hair bleached for highlights and it completely broke the top of my hair and even at the hair line. It sucked so bad. So what I did was started to take PRENATAL vitamins~ They have so much vitamins and it helps hair and nail growth.

Purchase deep conditioner like Biolage Cera repair. Or a hydrating type FROM A SALON. These will help strengthen your hairs. If you need to continue to use the blow dryer try to air dry you hair or towel dry so your not using the dryer for so long. Then add Bio Silk it adds in shine and controls fly aways with out the greasy look.

Hope it works for you!!

My hair are very weak and they break off very easily (especially those which are above my forehead).?

=[

My hair are very weak and they break off very easily (especially those which are above my forehead).?

use herbal essences breaks over shampoo and conditioner

My hair are very weak and they break off very easily (especially those which are above my forehead).?

coconut oil is the best product for hair falling trust me it works i can swear!!!

My hair are very weak and they break off very easily (especially those which are above my forehead).?

okay well, if u dye ur hair a lot that cud be the sorce of all ur problems [ or straightening i too often , etc.] I suggest u buy Aussie Deep. Its a greta product and its cheap , like 3 bucks. I use it because a few weeks ago, like four weeks ago, I dyed my hair three times in one weekend and it was really fried and was breaking and everything but after like one week my hair was super soft and pretty! u ***** even tell my hair was fried. I also suggest u buy conditioners and hair products with vitamins in them. That should help ur hair and make it stronger. hope i helped!!

Beading: I want to bead my own hair comb for my wedding.?

I will use crystals and pearls.

Does anyone know what 'size' wire i should use. I bought 26 gauge but it doesnt bend around the beads properly, so i'm thinking perhaps it is too thick or something.

Beading: I want to bead my own hair comb for my wedding.?

When you go to the craft shop look at wire that is smaller than 26 Gauge..But not too small that the crystals and pearls roll around too much.

You can buy a pair of craft nose pliers that way it will be easier to curve and hold the wire.

Make sure the wire is still not too thick because you do not want the wire to show up alot in between beads.

It should be beautiful.

Beading: I want to bead my own hair comb for my wedding.?

The wire gets progressively thinner the higher the wire gage number becomes.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

I think it is one of the most tiring things to do for a woman to spend hours washing her hair, combing them, setting them and going to the HairDressers to perm them or what ever they do with it. And since it is said that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder - I think if a man loves a woman - he would love her with the same intensity regardless of the length of the hair ....

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

I beleive thats true that if a man loves a woman, he would love her regaurdless of the length of hair.. Ii have seen some men who have seperated from a relationship because their partner cut their hair.. In the situations that I have witnessed, the men felt it changed whole look of the individual and the physical aspect is what he was attracted too to begin with.. The long hair was part of the package deal, not necessarily the inner beauty..

You seem like a person who can appreciate a woman for her inner beauty and I think thats wonderful.. But as a woman, with long hair I can tell you, it is only difficult to maintain depending on my own standards of beauty.. I wash, blowdry and style my hair and it only takes 30 minutes. If I am having a lazy day, I clip it up and it still looks cute with no effort at all.. I don't look for perfection, but hair looks great after its styled and I feel great when I look my best..

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

u can do much more w/ longer hair than short hair

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

Coz she knows guys like to stroke long hair. And that feels good for a woman.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

I have long hair, but I don't fuss over it. Blow drying is about it.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

yeah, yeah, yeah...................... But you guys are always looking at the babes with the long flowing hair when the wifey turns her back!! LOL

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

I think it's because it makes them look beautiful and it looks pretty. Also it's a girl thing my hair is medium and i like it that way but girl that have LONG hair they like it and makes them look pretty.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

Your right about a man loving a woman regardless of the length of her hair, but I'll also tell you this: I love long hair on a woman. So why shouldn't a woman have long hair if she wants to? Would you not like a woman just because she had a long hair?

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

My hair is almost waist length. I don't spend any time or money on it, and it always looks awesome, thank you very much!

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

my hair is long because I DON'T like to go to hairdressers or salons of any sort. I don't want to have to keep up on a "style." I wash it in the shower (less then five minutes total) and go. My hair is stick straight and thick and the most I do with it is stick in a ponytail or bun when I want it off my neck.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

you dont need to spend hours on long hair, i wash it and go

5 min tops

I can spend more time , I like pampering my self some days but its not alot more work, I found short hair more work.

And duh if a guy doesnt love a girl because the length of her hair, he's an ..

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

I like my girlfiends long hair but she wont ever let me stroke it so I guess I dont like it

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

Ultimately that is for them to decide. As you have mentioned, "beauty lies in the eye of the beholder" yet the eyes of that beholder may not be yours.

The question and answer could have the same impact if a woman was bald.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

it all depends on what u can handle. i like 2 keep mine longer in winter(4 warmth) and cut it in summer(so i can stay cool)

many ppl just think it looks really pretty and amazing that it can be sooooo long. i guess in answer 2 ur ?: attention

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

Believe it or not, a lot of men love women with long hair, it's very sexy! But from a womans point of view, we keep the hair because we know a lot of people are a little envious of it!

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

maybe to please someone who said that you wear your hair too short.......but yet they fawn over some with short hair.....it doesn't matter anymore. hurt runs deep and flows hard in my heart......even when it comes to my hair..........sh-----------t!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

Sir, it is a known fact that men like women with long hair..I'm talking all the way back to the Bible days..those women in the Bible wore long hair..

Still to this day, men like women with long hair..

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

Hair is a way to express your feelings, if your tired and don't want to do anything you can let your hair a little free but have it pulled back, if you're feeling flirty, we can leave it down or whatever we feel like.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

Short hair is more high-maintenance than long hair. It takes me a lot less time to care for my hair when it is long than it did when it was short.

Long hair does not have to be shampooed as frequently, nor does it need the attention of a beautician as often. I just wad or braid it up and I'm outta here.

Hair is hair, and like many here have said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder- and those with long hair have their reasons for keeping it. I sometimes wish that some 'beholders' had manners and would keep their grubby paws (or their opinions) to themselves, but that's just me.

Why on Earth or Heaven would a woman ever like to keep long hair?

It is said that A Womens Hair is her Glory.

Does a laser hair comb help prevent hairloss?

Well, my hubby got one, and man, those things don't come cheap!

I didn't see any new growth with his hair, but I do feel that the rate of loss slowed down... after all, I do the laundry and pillow cases sure tell a lot *L*

Honestly, I wouldn't bother - save up and look into the Bosley Hair Replacement, or something like that. I think that will be the route my hubby takes.

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

How do you dry it properly? I heard that you should not just leave your hair to dry on its on coz you could get sick. Something like that. If you towel dry it, how do you do it properly? Should you first wrap your hair in a towel for about 10 mins? Then, should you wipe (not the right word...is it scrub?) you hair quickly with a towel?? What should you do?

I have another question. Should you comb your hair while you are washing it? doesn't it cause the hair to fall?

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

1) Air drying is safe if you use common sense.

2) You can let it air dry, use a blow dryer on cold, or a fan. Make sure to comb to avoid creases.

3) Combing while in the shower does no more damage than combing out of the shower.

Explanations:

1) OF COURSE it WILL NOT make you sick, as long as you're in about 65+ degrees F (aka room temp or more).

2) i almost never blow-dry my hair anymore and it's healthier because of this. i leave it in the towel for about ten minutes. then i let it air-dry, sometimes with the aid of a fan on a low speed (don't stay in front of a fan for too long or your hair will dry like you're in a convertible). i comb it through from time to time to make sure it dries straight. also, many hair dryers now have a "cold blast" function. basically it blows cold air instead of warm, which means it's not doing any damage to your hair.

combing/brushing/hand-combing your hair will also help it dry faster, as you're exposing more of your hair to the air (same concept as a cold blow dryer).

3) speaking of combing: combing your hair while washing it DOES NOT do any more damage to your hair. i use my fingers so that i'm sure any hair that comes out was not pulled out by the root. any hair that comes off your head, assuming you're not yanking at it, was going to fall out anyway. you just notice it more when it's wet and clogging up the drain instead of just falling on the floor or catching in the comb.

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

...take a nice long ride in a convertible!

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

Hogwash to the idea that naturally drying your hair could get you sick. That only works if you let your hair dry naturally when it is 32 degrees.....

Wrap your hair up for five to ten minutes. Then let it down and comb it.

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

you're not gonna get sick if you let it air dry, annd what i do when i dont wanna blow dry it, i just leave it in a towel for a long time then i take the towel and squeeze my hair or shake your head haha it works

i have a good conditioner so i dont' brush my hair in the shower, buut it's not gonna cause your hair to fall out trust me

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

i just let it air dry- that works best- b/c blow drying or towel drying makes my hair too frizzy. and i read somewhere you shouldn't comb ur hair while washing it. i just do it right after its a little dry, then i dont brush it anymore- (again to prevent frizzness :D)

good luck!

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

Naturally, You won't get sick if you towel dry it and let it dry inside don't go out with it wet in the cold warm air will dry it faster outside. if you comb your hair in the shower do that when you condition it. Don't comb your hair after your towel dry it use a vent brush so not to damage hair.

How do you dry your hair without using heating devices?

Have you ever heard of germ theory? Did you know people get sick from exposure to germs i.e. bacteria and virii, not from benign behaviors? No, you won't get sick from walking about with wet hair @_@ However if you're lowering your core temperature that could contribute to your not being able to fight off an infection as effectively.

Combing your hair in the shower-- I heard hair breaks more easily when wet. What I do is brush my hair before the shower. After the shower I squeeze the excess water out. Sometimes I put it up in a towel turban, sometimes I just put it up in a clip. I only comb it when it's wet if I'm going out right away or putting it into a style then rather than once it's dry.

Back when I used to towel dry my hair by rubbing, I did this (with long hair. Hang my head sideways so the hair is freely falling down, then taking the towel so both of my hands have towel between the hand and the hair, I sandwich the hair in a clapping motion then rub my hands back and forth, but only for a few seconds. I move around to get all of my hair. But even then, the hair will still be damp.

I used to show up to work with wet hair and coworkers would say "did you just get out of the shower?!" Yeah whatever, it's just target. Who cares if my ponytail is wet! haha.

I also sleep on wet hair.

I am growing my hair out. How long should your bangs be before when you comb your hair it stays back

When I comb my hair back it just goes foward after it dries out. How long does your hair have to be for you to just wear it back and for your hair to stay that way?

I am growing my hair out. How long should your bangs be before when you comb your hair it stays back natural.

You have to train your hair to do that. The hair in the front of your head naturally grows forward so it wants to lay that way. If you want your hair to stay back then you can train your hair by brushing/combing your hair back to how you want it. Also helps if you blow dry it in the direction you want it to go. It will take some time but it does work.

I am growing my hair out. How long should your bangs be before when you comb your hair it stays back natural.

three months.

You can now either: write a patent - register a trademark - apply for research grant - incorporate a company - to squeeze this opportunity dry.

Alternatively you can start your very own corner comb repair booth. Best place - 47th and 5th, right next to the MOMA.

why not simply cut stripes back to the bone through your hair in the places where the damaged part of the comb would pass as you tend to your maine. This would remove the need for a replacement comb. Also, you could consider marketing the damaged comb as a specialist "Brazilian Groomer" for those areas that adult film stars have to tend.

Please note "fanny comb" and other such varients are copyrighted by me. I operate a 15% commision on all intimate body hair alignment tool franchises.

How do you keep your hair from sticking out.?

After I take a shower I comb my hair the way I want it and after like a half an hour it the hair on the back of my head sticks out. How do you prevent this without using gel.

How do you keep your hair from sticking out.?

not rub your head up against things [aka walls, chairs and such]

also try a little hairspray with water and comb that through

How do you keep your hair from sticking out.?

if your hair is curly then there is nothing too do about it!

How do you keep your hair from sticking out.?

use a hairspray that holds your hair in one place

How do you keep your hair from sticking out.?

use "flexible" hairspray. after ur hair dryies comb out your hair again so its not stiff. only spray the areas it sticks out.

How do you keep your hair from sticking out.?

Well it depends. I mean you can try to use a anti-frizz cream. A good anti-frizz cream would be the one from Dove. Or you can buy a straightening iron...I have on that contains some type of Japanese minerals in it...they cost around $90 at Sally. http://www.sallybeauty.com/ionic-ceramic... Try see if it works. It worked for my hair.

What's a relatively simple, yet elegant, way to put my hair up?

I'm a stay-at-home mom and usually just put my hair in a ponytail and forget about it. However, my husband and I are going out for a fancy dinner for our anniversary. I have the dress, the shoes, the jewelry...but I don't know how to do my hair. I bought a hair comb with rhinestones (about 4 inches long) that I'd like to use, but although I've been experimenting with it, I can't figure out how to do anything myself that looks nice. Suggestions with step-by-step instructions would be appreciated. My hair is an inch or two past shoulder length.

What's a relatively simple, yet elegant, way to put my hair up?

Your hair is perfect for a french twist.

Purchase one of those hair comb clips (medium). Black or tortoise shell, not white.

Gather your hair at the back of your neck as if you're putting it in a pony tail. While you've got a hold of it, twist it around (at the base of your skull) like 3 or 4 times.

In a final twisting motion, bring the gathered hair up vertically against your head and hold in place with your comb clip. After a few tries you should get the hang of this hairdo.

You can also pull out a few strands of hair in front of your ears or at the back of your neck for a whispy look.

What's a relatively simple, yet elegant, way to put my hair up?

a loose pony tail or bun. Curl the ends with a curling iron. It's fun and easy, yet elegant and playful!

What's a relatively simple, yet elegant, way to put my hair up?

u can put it half up and curl the ends with curl iron

its just like putting ur hair in a ponytail put putting the top half up and leaving the bottom half down the part that is in the ponytail u can curl the ends

Does using a plastic, tightly spaced teeth HAIR COMB damage your hair?

if so, what others do you reccomend for use as a comb, not brush?

it'll have to be pretty cheap (under 8 bucks) please/

Does using a plastic, tightly spaced teeth HAIR COMB damage your hair?

It depends on your hair and what you are trying to do with it.

If it is thick and curly, then you might have problems because you would have a lot of tagles to deal with. A fine comb would be better for fine hair and a wider toothed comb for thick or curly hair. You best bet would be to ask a hair dresser or contact a cosmetology school.

Does using a plastic, tightly spaced teeth HAIR COMB damage your hair?

No, but it will take care of the bugs

Does using a plastic, tightly spaced teeth HAIR COMB damage your hair?

It is best to use a hairbrush. Combs tend to break hair when used on most hair types unless you have hair that never tangles. I am a cosmetologist

Does using a plastic, tightly spaced teeth HAIR COMB damage your hair?

Yes, a plastic comb with tightly spaced teeth will damage your hair. (Because it pulls at tangles - leading to breakage).

But you are also smart in that you don't want to use a brush. Brushes also have a detrimental effect on the hair (in most cases).

The best comb to use is one that has wide teeth that have round tips, and are widely spaced along the comb.

When combing, begin by untangling the ends, and work your way up the length of your hair.

Good luck. =D

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

i think its Edgar Allan Poe that wrote a story about a wife that sells her hair to buy her husband a chain (?) for his pocket watch; not knowing he sold his pocket watch to buy her a hair comb (?)....i might be wrong about the items, but its a really ironic story...BUT I FORGOT THE TITLE ...

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

"The Gift of the Magi" by O Henry is a wonderful story. You can read it online here:

http://www.auburn.edu/~vestmon/Gift_of_t...

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

That is an O Henry story "The Gift of the Magi" (I think that is the title).

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

It wasn't Poe, it was "The Gift of the Magi" by O. Henry.

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

The story you're thinking of is "Gift of the Magi," a short story written by O. Henry (a pen name for William Sydney Porter), allegedly at Pete's Tavern[1][2] on Irving Place in New York City.

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

It not E.A.P. it is O. Henry "the Gift of the magi".

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

That is "The Gft of the Magi' by William Sydney Porter, aka O. Henry.

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

The story you are thinking of is called 'The Gift of the Magi' %26amp; it's by O Henry, not Poe. It's a lovely story.

Edgar Allan Poe title: wife sells hair?

Did you know that Poe once said "If I wrote in new York City they'd name a candy bar after me"?

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

My 6 yr. old has waist-length curly (or kinky, whatever you prefer) hair. She is tender-headed and doesn't like to get her hair combed, although I cornrow it often. Her friends at school have perms, but our family choses to be chemical free. She understands that we don't believe in perms, but she constantly asks if she can have straight hair and hairstyles like the big girls on TV. I have flat ironed it a few times before, but it takes so much work (lots of tears, too!) and I don't want her to get caught up in that image. My husband and I try to surround her with positive images to appreciate (dreads, afros...), but "Hollywood" has always worked against us. I am afraid that if I put too much on it as far as saying no, that she will run even faster towards those other images that are not of her African American heritage. I have explained to her that when she is an adult it will be her choice as to how she wears her hair. What do I do?

PS- She understands that real beauty lies within.

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

just be calm with her and just find the time to play with her and when u do just do crazy things to her hair soo itll make her love her hair thats what my mom did to me

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

well that works to. Report It

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

i do not have a child but i could suggest you look a picture online wit someone who had a terrible hair due in a bueaty salon and show it to her and then just tell that is why you must love what god (if you believe in a god) gave you to make you ... you.

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

Just let your daughter know that it doesn't matter what every one else is doing to their hair just look in the mirror and than god that she does have long pretty hair their are alot of girls out that that would love to have long pretty hair like that...

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

you guys can both sing a song while your brushing your hair.

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

Show her pictures or maybe videos of women with beautiful natural free flowing hair. maybe using some different or unusual hair ornaments once in a while.Do you give as a reason to disallow perms the health hazards of the chemical solutions or other reasons?I agree that if you place too much emphasis on it it will make her want it more. For now if she understands and respects your philosophy even a little bit, be glad!Good luck!

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

go to this website: shopathometv.com

go to beauty and fitness, go to hair care. everysooften they sell the maxiglide flatiron. it steams the hair straight. i hve been trying to save money up to purchase it so i can stop borrowing my friends. it is a lot better for the hair than a Hot comb. the hair isnt scorched just infused with moisture, less breakage.

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

If you have truly taught her that what is most important is to "groom her inner-beauty" than you will have also taught her that "outer beauty" is secondary. Then, it stands to reason that it isn't really THAT important that she maintain a standard of beauty that you and your husband have deemed appealing.

Is hair what makes African American heritage special? I certainly doubt that is the only way she can show her pride in her ancestry.

She is an individual (regardless of age). You say your family has made the choice to be chemical free....isn't your daughter part of the family? If she is requesting hairstyles that require chemicals, then she didn't make the choice...you have. You must choose your battles wisely when dealing with children...is she being teased for her or is it just a physical discomfort? Either way, I would want my child to be comfortable and confident. At six she has very little control over her life, it's the little things...choosing her outfits, her hairstyles, what she eats for lunch, that will develop her independence and self-esteem.

Wouldn't you rather assert your ideas on the big things...sex before marriage, drugs, alcohol? (Hopefully, you have many years before you have to assert these.)

Best of Luck ...

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

well. she is a little young to be straigtening it all the time. i'd let her do it for 'special ocasions.' i bet by the time she is older she'll be happy with her hair cause it'll make her different. there are always girls with straight hair who want it curly.

How do you teach a child to love her natural hair?

i wish i could help. I have a daughter about to be born in two weeks and i am wondering the same thing. I am not necessarily against chemicals complete but i do think 6 is to young. My wife and i are trying to figure out how to approach this same situation when we get to the place

PS we have bought come children books to help

Happy to be Nappy

I love my hair

Does hair combing have health benefits?

rids hair of excess dirt//oil (so does washing) also improves circulation to the scalp. this is esp a concern if you're experiencing hair loss or are concerned about it :)

Does hair combing have health benefits?

Be very careful of what type of comb that you use. Try to steer away from the combs with rigidness on the teeth of the comb. When you get a chance look at the teeth of the comb very closely and see if there' s any plastic sticking out of them. If so, don't use it anymore because it can break your hair. Hope this helps.

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is

basically i am told that long hair are more prone to breaking if combed when wet. i am recommended letting hair dry up and then combing them. what is the truth behind this?

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

I have heard this as well. However, I guess I am bad, because I always do it. Spray in some detangler or leave in conditioner to help avoid this if you can't help but brush when it is wet.

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

No, you should use a wide tooth comb on wet hair, but do not brush it.

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

Do not BRUSH your hair when it's wet, but feel free to run a wide-toothed comb through to get out the tangles. Be extra gentle, because stretching the hair causes breakage!

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

u can comb it but you cannot brush it

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

Ummmm i think thats a lie, whenever its wet, well since you just wached it it shouldnt be all tangled.... and like if u let it dry, it gets tangled more and if u brush your hair when its tangled, some of your hair might fall off. Hope i helped, bye!

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

I have long hair I wash, comb and brush my hair everyday, nothing happened. It is healthy, silky and shiny. It is not true that

it will break, our hair are more elastic when wet. It will break if your hair is already damage. Actually, combing is one way of giving massage on your follicles (hair).

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

It is very true. Hair is at its weakest point when it's wet. You should let it dry about 80% or so before you comb it. Hope I helped!

Many people say that one should not comb wet hair (after taking bath) else they will break more. is it true?

using a bristle brush on wet hair will break it. first comb with fingers then a wide tooth comb and it will be just fine.

Does your hair seem to get shorter after you comb it?

Every time I comb my hair out in the shower and then blow dry it, my hair seems to get a lot shorter. Does this happen to anyone else?

Does your hair seem to get shorter after you comb it?

its called shrinkage....you hair will naturally shrink once it is dried out...the water weighs it down...

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that b

now when i wash my hair/comb it a lot of my hair comes out it seems. What should I do?

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

well, its a bad sign. but dont panic...because its probably just the product u used. what was the name of it and what shade?? or you could call the company and ask them. but no, do not listen to the people saying "stop dieing ur hair". it not gonna do anything to stop dyeing it. just dont die it right now. go see a hairdresser and see what they can do. for future references:: for hair dye i reccomend: loreal color pulse, schwarzkopf igora, clairol beautiful.

was the stuff u used loreal feria??? tht stuff sucks. no offence but it contains crystals. yea crystals u might think "ooo crystals are soo pretty and shiny so its gonna make my hair all shiny".no thats totally wrong. it actually damages ur hair. a lot of my school teachers use feria..dontask...yea they tell me im like ok.well that stuff sucks..and theones that use feria..their hair is all crummy and yucky and thin =X for shampoo:: try to use a volumizing shampoo everyday.therefore it wil build body and make ur hair look more fuller. it also cleanses the hair and doesnt make it greasy. i reccomend professional brands like graham webb, paul mitchell. you can really only find them super expensive in some hair salons, and the stores for hairdressers where u have to have ur cosmetology license to buy products from there. but those shampoos i reccomended should help right now with the hair loss. dont use hairspray at the moment..it will make ur hair look worse. stay away from shampoos like suave, white rain, generic brands, etc. they just make it worse.

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

chnage ur head,,

its of no uuse

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

use a good shampoo for dry and dyed hair. I use VO5 and it works well

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

you are probally allergic to the dye. you need to see a doctor before your bald.

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

Stop using that hair dye. It could be the reason why all your hair is coming out. Use a different product and ir should work! =)

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

sometimes hair falls out during/after the shower because the hot water opens up your hair folicles...try rinsing your hair with semi-cold water before you get out. that should help....

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

It sounds like you over processed your hair. You have to many chemicals in it. once it's coming out I don't think there's too much of anything you can do. Just try not to wash your hair too often. Sorry I can't be of much help!

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

If you dyed it black then it makes perfect sense. I don't know why, but black makes the hair fall out terribly.

I had the same problem and I was never able to stop it - my hair still falls out, although it is fortunately alot less than it used to be.

Perhaps you should ask a hair stylist or maybe speak to your Obgyn and see if she can't prescribe you some kind of vitamin.

I noticed that my hair was thicker and fell out alot less when I took my prenatal vitamins.

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

My first question is it a darker or lighter color.

If its darker you may notice the what your losing more than when it was lighter.... but be losing the same amount.

If its lighter maybe you damaged it leaving bleach on to long.

If it was a store bought bleach.... to go lighter they are more harsh than a salon dye and are know to make hair fall out. It would be a good idea to get antisnap-Redkin to prevent further breakage and improve the condition of the hair..

You usuallly lose around 100 hairs a day.

MY opinion without actually seeing your hair is that u probably didnt notice how much you lose til you dyed it darker.....

I did the same with my hair I went from light brown to black/red a few months ago and I was a little freaked out the first few times i washed it but... IM not experiencing hair loss..... it was just that you dont really see blonde as well as black when its in the tub.... lol sounds strange but contrast makes your eyes play tricks on you.

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

Uhh...stop dying your hair?

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

oooh i wouldnt use it again incase it was that but it might not be ? i know my hair comes out so easily everytime i brush my hair i have to empty the hair brush out its terrible ! goodluck tho whatever you do :) x

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

I would say yes very bad. You are having a bad hair day

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

yea, thats bad. The chemicals in the dyr are too strong for your hair.

I just recently dyed my hair and when i rinsed it out and a handful of strands came out... is that bad?

There is a number on the box or tube of dye, I suggest calling them before listening to any of the advice on here!! If you have thrown the container away, look up the website of the company whose dye it was and call them. Suggestions to stop dying your hair are useless at this point...geeze people.

Natural Hair in Memphis, TN?

I'm trying to find a place to get my natural hair comb and 2 strand twisted in Memphis, TN. I need to get it done every week so I was looking for a place that's reasonable priced. I actually live in Cordova, so I was looking for a place close to there but anywhere in or around Memphis would work. Any suggestions?

There is a website that lists different hair salons

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

I have this thick hair that gets matted VERY easily... so to prevent that from happening, i've started combing my hair every class, usually the beginning and the end... my teacher has a big problem with it and I can't go to the washroom twice just to comb my hair, but I definitely DO NOT want it to be matted when I get home... is there anything I could do?

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

Yes it is considered rude to comb your hair in public. A wash room is fine. You wouldnt brush your teeth at your desk would you? Anything that is considered personal hygiene should not be done in public. the reason for the hair thing is because everytime we comb our hair some fall out. Im sure you wouldnt want someone elses hair strands stuck to your note book or on your lunch bag. think about it. its gross.

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

wear your hair up that period

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

Just comb it during the breaks cous the teacher can staart to hate you couse of it.

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

do it in between...like before class starts and once it ends...

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

Why should the teacher care, if u have good grades and u always listen, then why should it even matter.

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

brush your hair during passing period, or wear your hair in a pony, or just brush it (combs attract more attention) and i dont think its rude!!! it's polite cuz the girls looking out 4 her hair!!!...its a good thing!!!

GoOd LuCk WiTh YoUr HaIr!!!

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

GURL..... if your hair starts lookin lik that get out your comb, brush, spray, conditioner, straightner, blow drier PEOPLE... are just sooooo jealous that u hav such gorgeous hair, brush it wheneva u want and if any 1 smart remark comes out of thier mouth tell them off say DARLING... JUST B JEALOUS, CUZ u know u love my hair, and u know u wish u had hair just lik mine pshhhhhhhhhh in ur face! lol seriously its not a crime u should b able to comb ur hair and pleaz do! hope this helps :p be confident! ITS NOT RUDE, just don't act all stuck up whle doin it!

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

Yes.

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

yes, this could be seen as you being 'bored'

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

how cute of you. if im your teacher, then its ok for you

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

Grooming yourself during class is very rude. A classroom is not a salon. If you need to fix your hair, you should do it between your classes, but whipping out a brush and fixing your hair twice during class gives the impression that you aren't paying attention, and also can be distracting to both the teacher and other students.

Is it rude for a girl to comb her hair during class?

Yes, I would find it really annoying (it happens in my high school a lot) because you are basically expressing to the teacher that you don't care about what they have to say, and it can also be very distracting to other students. Sorry, you are just going to have to suffer until break and lunch hours!

Besides, hair is not what you should be focusing on in class, it's the subject and what the teacher is saying that should be concentrated on.

My hair is falling out like crazy all i have to do is run my hand thro it and ill have chunks fallin

Im a 17 Female

if i wash my hair, comb it, tie it up etc more falls out it just wont stop!! ( i always find it alll over my clothes)

i have asked docs in the past but they all say its hormone changes HOW CAN IT STILL BE HORMONE CHANGES IF IVE HAD MY PERIOD FOR 8 YEARS!?

My hair is falling out like crazy all i have to do is run my hand thro it and ill have chunks falling out!?

More than likely it is hormone changes. The same thing has happened to me a few times over the years, and because cancer runs in my family the first 2 or 3 times it happened I was sent for just about every test in the book (including Lupus) but the last few times the first thing the Dr. did was check my hormone levels right away and sure enough, they were out of whack! I'm 29 years old and this has been happening to me since I was 13 years old. Your doctor should be able to prescribe something for you, or even just a simple change in your diet can help...and believe me, stress can have a big effect on your body, whether you feel it or not. But, I'd still go and talk with a Dr. or a nutritionist about changes you can make, it could be as simple as needing more vitamin intake (which you can easily get from fruits and veggies) Hope this helps.

My hair is falling out like crazy all i have to do is run my hand thro it and ill have chunks falling out!?

loupis

My hair is falling out like crazy all i have to do is run my hand thro it and ill have chunks falling out!?

stress, when my friends grandma died her hair fell out like CRAZY! and then my hair falls out when I have a lot of stress, like the SAT tests and stuff...

My hair is falling out like crazy all i have to do is run my hand thro it and ill have chunks falling out!?

trust me you won"t go bald...so don"t worry...what you should do from now on is take a shower every other day...so one day take a whole shower and the next only shower you body

My hair is falling out like crazy all i have to do is run my hand thro it and ill have chunks falling out!?

You could have a protien deffeciency, You should go see another doctor about it and get a second opinion.

My hair is falling out like crazy all i have to do is run my hand thro it and ill have chunks falling out!?

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Trying to grow my hair?

Is it better for my hair if i wear it up or down to bed ?

and also whats better for my hair combing or brushing?Any other tips would be great!

thanks x

Trying to grow my hair?

Normal rate of hair loss ,on average,is 75 to 100 hairs a day. The hair falls out naturally and is replaced quickly if your scalp is healthy.Brushing is more beneficial to your scalp as it stimulates the blood which nourishes the hair.

As far as wearing your hair up or down to sleep...whatever you find the most comfortable is fine.If it is long enough to put in a loose braid it will be less tangled in the AM.

Trying to grow my hair?

For your first question,I suggest you wear it up to bed so that it doesn't rub out on your pillowcase or anything.

For the second one, brushing. Just don't brush it too much because that could cause breakage. :)

Trying to grow my hair?

Brushing is better than combing

Doesn't matter whether you put your hair up or not.

Trying to grow my hair?

Listen to the first person. ALSO. If you want it to grow...dont straighten it. That burns and ruins your hair. Let it air dry

閳绢櫝addie

Trying to grow my hair?

well i have a short head full of hair so i dont now what to tell. I need advice myself. I think that brushing it is better. Combing it will just make ur hair fall out even more (in my opinion).

Trying to grow my hair?

Massage your scalp every night with your fingertips. This simulates a tired scalp and signals nerves to relax in the hair follicle. Tie your hair up every night, and sleep on a satin pillowcase. I'm telling you my regime and it will work but it does take some time though. I guarantee over the next 3 months you'll see a difference.

Trying to grow my hair?

I think wearing it down is better, because there is more free space for the hair to grow. Massaging olive oil onto your scalp for five minutes twice a day helps hair growth too.

Trying to grow my hair?

for me, whatever suits and makes you comfortable is okay. having your hair tied up in the evening gives a feeling of uncoziness.

after taking a bath or whenever your hair is wet, preferably use a wide-tooth comb. hair strands are prone to breakage when wet so dont use a brush. however, when it is already dry, it is best to use a brush since it stimulates the scalp and gives a relaxing feeling. through this, your scalp secretes natural oils to your hair, making it feel softer again.

i am also growing my hair. for faster results, just dont cut it. but, when you already split ends, it means that you have to have your hair trimmed or else all those times of growing will just be worthless.

take care of your hair and do not put lots of hair products in it. it will only worsten the situation. treat it nicely. just love it!

hope these will help. :)

It really works , I grew my hair 3 in a less than a MONTH !!! and some parts of my hair haven't gown that long in my whole life ( I'm 12 years old .) The oil is completely natural. I have seen less hair in my comb after using it and my hair is no longer damaged. it's shinny and full of luster. And it's great for ALLLLLLLLL hair types
